“What am I speaking, Polish?!” This is what I remember my childhood trainer yelling at me when I failed to understand how to take my horse out onto the track during my first riding lesson. We can probably all recall similar moments.

Think back to that time, and all the little things you probably now take for granted. Things like how to pick out feet, mount from the left, and balance in the middle of the horse—not to mention the tougher stuff, like posting to the trot. So just imagine what it might be like to know that your first time EVER on a horse was about to be live-streamed over the Internet on Facebook.

That’s just the conundrum our brave video producer Aaron Nevins found himself in last week, when he volunteered for this difficult and potentially catastrophic assignment. The good news? Aaron not only nailed it, he was a really great sport about it too.

But don’t worry—if you happened to miss the live stream, we’ve cobbled it together here for your (and our) viewing pleasure. Thanks, Aaron!
