This “perfectly trained” horse won’t buck you off while you post around with free weights, stretch from side to side, or work on your piaffe while equitating. But, like any good horse, he might lighten your wallet a bit.

Meet Equicise: a horse riding simulator and workout school based at Wimbledon Village Stables in South West London. Created by Carol Andrews, a veteran rider, the fitness system includes a variety of different classes intended to build core strength and improve balance and posture through pilates, yoga, and low-impact studio fitness sessions.

All warmed up? Good. Next, it’s onto the Horse Riding Simulator, itself, where you can take 30-minute private or 60-minute group lessons with one of Equicise’s experienced instructors.

On its website, the company recommends its Horse Riding Simulator for everyone from nervous riders and new mothers looking to get back into the riding game, to individuals working on rehabilitation after an injury, and even dressage competitors hoping to gain experience “riding” in 20 x 40-meter ring, or working on movements such as the passage and piaffe and flying changes.

A private, 30-minute Equicise Ride with an instructor costs about £50 ($71 USD). Or, if you’re hoping to add an Equicise Horse to your personal gym, it’ll set you back about £50,000 ($71,017 USD), an amount which could probably buy you one or two very nice real horse(s), and also a mechanical bull for your living room. A less controlled and holistic experience, for sure, though it too will teach you to sit up straight and stick on tighter than a skeeter in a hurricane.

(It’ll also be a BIG hit at your next bachelorette party!) Or not. Here’s more from Equicise:
