Kent Farrington is everything, everywhere at all once this winter season.

The American Olympic medalist has been making the rounds and his presence felt at all three major winter circuits in the U.S. over the past 30 days. He’s won the biggest Grands Prix of the 2025 season to date at the World Equestrian Festival, Desert Horse Park and Wellington International.

The world no. 3’s streak started with coast to coast victories on Toulayna. They won the UG Health Grand Prix CSI4* at in Ocala, Florida in January and the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup CSI5*-W in Thermal, California last week.

On Saturday, Farrington was back in the Sunshine State for the Winter Equestrian Festival and back atop the leaderboard. On Greya, he captured the Fidelity Investments® CSI5* Grand Prix, besting Olympic champions Christian Kukuk and Checker 47 by three tenths of a second.

“I’m very proud of this horse,” said Farrington of 11-year-old Oldenburg mare Greya (Colestus x Contender) after collecting their career fourth Grand Prix title (Jumpr stats).

“I’ve been riding her since she was six and she’s an incredible athlete. It’s a great feeling to ride this horse in the ring; she’s a fighter and incredibly careful. It was fun sport [tonight], regardless of the outcome. It’s nice to come out with the win but I was thrilled with the horse either way.”

Saturday’s victory officially pushes Greya over the €1 Million in earnings mark (Jumpr) and makes Farrington the first American to win a 1.55m+ class at WEF this season. Belgium’s Nicola Philippaerts and Germany’s Richard Vogel have collected two feature class wins apiece, while Henrik von Eckermann (SWE), Roberto Teran (COL), Nayel Nassar (EGY), Jessica Mendoza (UK) and Christian Kukuk (GER) have each claimed one.

With the World Cup Final coming up in April and five star events nearly every week in Florida through March, Farrington has repeatedly said he’s “not totally sure” what his plans are for months ahead. But his record suggests he’s angling to reclaim that world no. 1 arm band…and that it’s going entirely to plan.
