There is no disputing who wears the crown in the turf kingdom these days. The only question seems to be when will the great mare Tepin relinquish her crown? The 5-year-old puts her 7-race winning streak on the line today in the Grade I Woodbine Mile, her first start since the historic romp in the Queen Anne at Royal Ascot in June, becoming the first North American based horse in history to win the fabled stake.

If her work tab is any indication, Tepin thrived during her Saratoga summer vacation in Team Casse’s barn and is heavily favored to take down the boys yet again today in Toronto.

Enjoy this VIP view from the between the ear’s of the Queen as she stretched her legs and jogged over the Woodbine synthetic yesterday morning.
