In honor of Queen Elizabeth II’s 90th Birthday today (still need to buy her a gift? here you go!), we’re sharing a charming little diddy from way back in 1992, when the queen was busy sharing her lifetime love of horses with the next generation—that’d be William, Harry, Zara and Beatrice—and by all accounts, it worked.

Princes William and Harry are both avid polo players, while Zara went on to win a Silver medal in team eventing at the London 2012 Olympics. But once upon a time, it was just a doting grandmother, sharing her passion for “pony trekking” with her royal brood (a brood that naturally includes some corgis, and what might be the cutest, tiniest pony in the world). Enjoy!
