If you’ve logged into Jumpr App recently, you may have noticed things look a little bit different.

A crisper, cleaner interface, for one thing, and new rider photos and timelines that make it even easier to select and follow your favorite combinations.

If, like us, you’re a big fan of the app already, maybe you didn’t realize how much you needed just a fleeting glimpse of Harry Charles’ (GBR) smiling mug before moving on to study, in minute detail, all the riders who saddled Romeo 88 before him. (Why hello there, Jeroen Dubbeldam and Darragh Kenny!)

But trust us, you do.

The brainchild of Egyptian Olympian Nayel Nassar—and developed during the COVID-19 pandemic—Jumpr App is the world’s leading data aggregator of show jumping sport.

Designed for riders, trainers, and owners with horses competing at the FEI level as a tool to assess and track performance, the app has become the sport’s favorite, in-your-pocket, ready reference for fans of all stripes.

And, with the launch of Jumpr 2.1, there are even more reasons to subscribe. And more ways—for the first time ever, Jumpr is now available on Android!

Here’s what’s new:

The app—which already boasts access to more than 125,000 horses and 45,000 riders worldwide—is now sortable by Riders, Horses and Shows with additional filters for prize money (in USD or Euros), time frame, fence height, country, rating, and circuit.

You can also now easily share horses, riders and competitions with others and learn a horse’s history at a glance with their rider timeline. Jumpr has made it simpler to view a rider’s active string as well, with the most recent horses now listed first.

Here for the data? New Stats Tables make it easier than ever to cross reference performance trends via more than 2.7 million international competition results from top horses and riders.

For instance, you can compare a horse’s clear round rate, 4 faults or better average and average faults at various heights to its placement percentages (i.e. top-10 finishes). That difference might indicate whether a horse is speedy and keen as well as capable of making the jump-off at the level it currently competes—or not.

In that way, it’s also become an essential tool for those looking to buy or sell top horses, be it a diamond-in-the-rough prospect posting clear after clear at the lower heights, or an established wunderkind laying down wins at lesser-known show circuits far away.

Whether you’re in the media or horse sales business, a fantasy show jumping devotee (if you know you know), or just a true fan, Jumpr App offers a new level of transparency and real-time updates that make it a first for the industry.
