Mark your calendars: The $20,000 MeadowGrove & Friends 1.20 Classic returns to Desert International Horse Park (DIHP) this weekend on Sunday, March 9—and it’s bringing its biggest year yet.
Just how big? If you plan to ride, you’ll be eligible to win coveted swag, including $500 TKEQ gift cards, Charles Owen Halo Helmets, $500 HorsePlay gift cards, Equestrian Stockholm kits, and much, much more.

This year’s raffle is offering its own star-studded lineup of prizes, including an Archie Cox 1-day clinic at the Southern California barn of your choice, a brand-new Prestige Hunter saddle (a $7,875 value!), a Charles Owen backpack, tbird Show Park stall, a Farm Vet supplies bucket, and more.
And there will be $1,000 in cash prizes for the grooms of 1st through 3rd place.
The best part is, it’s all for a good cause. Now in its third year, the MeadowGrove & Friends Classic is an important annual fundraiser for #WeRideTogether and their mission to create healthy, positive environments for young athletes in the sport of equestrian and beyond.
During the classic, riders of all stripes (juniors, amateurs, and professionals) are welcome to take part in the Table II, 2(b) format class. Each year, DIHP generously donates 100% of the entry fees, while offering $20,000 in prize money for 1st– through 12th-place finishers. (Riders also have the option to donate their prize money back to the organization.)
Participants who don’t wish to jump—totally fine!—are able to “enter” the charity class and donate their entry fee without ever setting foot in the ring. All non-competing entries will be honored as participants on the start list and get to see their names flash across the scoreboard, along with a kind “thank you” for supporting the cause, DIHP-style.
What’s more, there are fun, new events lined up all weekend at the Horse Park.
Beginning on Saturday, March 8, you can purchase your $50 ticket for this year’s raffle at 2 p.m. (closing at 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 9). The event will kick-off on Vendor Row with bridle charm- and bracelet-making crafts, a Pony Paint Party, and free food—all sponsored by #WeRideTogether. Plus: the first 75 attendees will receive a goodie bag filled with items that promote healthy, fun sport!
