The fields and post-positions for Friday’s filly Kentucky Oaks and Saturday’s Kentucky Derby are final with the completion of the Derby draw this morning.

The Kentucky Oaks will be race 12 of 13 on Friday, Sept. 4 at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky. The Grade 1 event is 1 1/8 miles on dirt with a purse of $1.25 million. Bob Baffert-trained Gamine is the current even-money favorite.

Post time is 5:45 p.m. EDT. Horses can be scratched for any reason no later than Friday morning at 9 a.m. The race and pre/post-race events will be televised from 3–6 p.m. on NBCSN or heard on the Horse Racing Radio Network.

The Kentucky Derby 146

Kentucky Derby 146 will be race 14 of 14 scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 5 at Churchill Downs. The Grade 1 event is 1 1/4 miles on dirt and carries a purse of $3 million. Barclay Tagg-trained Tiz the Law is the early 3-5 wagering favorite. There are 19 horses entered. Art Collector is a late scratch due to a minor foot injury. Stall #1 in the new 20-horse gate will be left empty as a result.

Post time is 7:02 p.m. EDT. Horses can be scratched for any reason no later than the morning of the race. The race and pre/post-race events will be televised from 2:30-7:30 p.m. on NBCSN or heard on the Horse Racing Radio Network.
