What’s better than an exciting new class dedicated to Children’s jumper riders? The opportunity to win a clinic spot with one of the world’s best, of course!
That’s just what’s on offer thanks to Prestige Italia’s new Youth Cup competition, which will offer jumping classes on both coasts this 2023 Desert Circuit at Desert International Horse Park (DIHP) in Thermal, California, and the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) at Wellington International in Florida.
Run weekly, the Prestige Youth Cup Children’s Jumper Classic is open to riders age 15-17 . In addition to ribbons and prize money, competitors will vie for an invitation to the Prestige Italia Youth Cup clinic with Prestige Italia rider and Canadian Olympian Amy Millar at DIHP in December, during the Major League Finals.
The top five riders from each winter circuit will earn a spot in the clinic along with Prestige swag. (Think: A Prestige Italia saddle pad and ear bonnet for each competitor, with a store gift card.)
Previous Prestige Italia Youth Cup clinics in Europe have featured such world-renowned riders as Philipp Weishaupt (GER), Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum (GER), and Christian Kukuk (GER).
The Prestige Italia Youth Cup, established in 2021, was created to help develop talented young riders from around the globe.
