France’s Eric Navet and the 11-year-old KWPN gelding Basimodo bested a field of 29 in the $36,500 Murieta Inn, Spa & Restaurant 1.45m Speed at Sacramento International in California. The speedy pair stopped the clock at 54.57 seconds, nearly one and a half seconds faster than runner up Mandy Porter and Coral Reef Baloufino.
Karrie Rufer and Clapton took third in 56.05 seconds.
