Last night was the annual Barn Night at the Washington International Horse Show (WIHS), meaning that plenty of cheering, fun, and free-T-shirt-tossing ensued. Among the many highlights of the evening was a special video presentation courtesy of Memory’s Hills Stables in Waynesboro, Virginia. And the subject couldn’t have been more appropriate.

In the heart of the Nation’s Capital with the U.S. presidential election less than two weeks away, it’s no surprise that politics was on everyone’s mind. But whether your issue is education or immigration, climate change or healthcare reform, one thing is for certain: everyone can get behind good horsemanship.

And so, Horse Network is proud to support the candidacy of Major, the little grey gelding who’s dedicated his life to the virtues of grooming, mucking, wrapping, and tack cleaning. We think you will too.
