While the world is swooning over the barely clothed Olympic male swimmers (and why shouldn’t they?), we couldn’t take our eyes off of the beasts of Eventing. And no, we are not talking about the horses. Not familiar with this year’s event riders? Well, let us help you out with that…

With that devilish smile, good looks, Aussie accent and um…hell, sorry, just got lost in his eyes trying to type this out. Seriously, yum. Boyd is a female favorite in the saddle and is probably most likely to have his pictures taped inside Trapper Keepers and tack boxes around the world.

Ok, so this rider may only be 35 and showing a little early onset graying, but all the same—he had me at the salt and pepper hair and those boyish good looks. Were I not married, I would take him home, wrap him up in a Frozen blanket and make him some hot cocoa to feed the youthful side of him, then sit back and read the New York Times with him to satisfy his distinguished side.
Mrs. Montgomery, you are a lucky lady indeed!

Dolce Maria, Madre di Dio, essere ancora il mio cuore che batte! This is Roman’s Olympic debut, but he comes from an Olympic family. His brother, Luca, is also competing for the Italian Eventing Team and his father, Frederico, earned individual gold in Eventing in 1980. So what if I only remember 10% of my Italian classes from college. I don’t really need to know what he is saying as all I will be hearing is “Come Bella, and ride across the beach at my Italian villa this weekend with me…and my brother.”
