To the unwashed masses, polo can be quite the experience. Champagne flowing, big hats, ladies in heels walking about the field “stomping the divots” (champagne in hand, of course). It is easy to feel a little lost, like you’ve wandered into a Ralph Lauren ad in progress.
But after you learn to see through the bubbles and charmeuse you can start to enjoy the nitty-gritty aspects of this fast-paced, action-filled sport. Horse Collaborative had the unique opportunity to strap our GoPro to the helmet of Mariano Gutierrez (If that name sounds familiar, it’s probably because you saw him in the Britney Spears video “Radar“).
So sit back, relax, hit play and enjoy the Gentleman’s Sport from a whole new perspective: the rider’s seat.
