The 2017 American Gold Cup CSI4*-W, one of the most prestigious and crowd-pleasing show jumping events in the country, is set to take place Wednesday, Sept. 13, through Sunday, Sept. 17, at Old Salem Farm.

Celebrating its sixth anniversary at this picturesque location and third year as part of the Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping North American League, the American Gold Cup will showcase an international field of world-class athletes as well as exciting family friendly entertainment throughout the week.

Historically, for over four decades, the American Gold Cup has attracted top horses and athletes from around the world to compete in prominent show jumping events and this year is no exception. Some of the U.S. athletes set to participate include world number two ranked athlete and two-time Olympic gold medalist, McLain Ward, as well as Georgina Bloomberg, Margie Engle and recent BMO Nations Cup team gold medalists at Spruce Meadows, Beezie Madden and Charlie Jacobs. Athletes from eight other nations around the globe will also be in attendance at Old Salem Farm vying for top honors and the coveted American Gold Cup trophy.
