“Bella burst into the world in the early hours of the 16th of October, 2015 on the farm. Her six-year-old shetland mum, Rosie, was completely unaided. No one even knew she was pregnant—her owners just thought she was a little fat. This was the very same day that I, Cheryl, Lee (my husband), and our thirteen-year-old daughter, Jasmine, moved onto the farm with our new horse, Havana. It was love at first sight.
Bella has had all my time to teach and show her the world. She’s very brave but trusts us totally, thus enabling us to do anything with her. She loves other horses and they love her—as do cows, dogs, and kids. At nine months old, she’s done so much (even played with a longboard!).
Bella loves to please, to kiss, to be brushed, and her foooood…but most of all, she adores hanging out with us, and hearing the sound of laughter in her little ears.”
