As we start to figure out how to watch from home while working from home a plan for the #bestweekendallyear, here are some quick links for how and when to watch ALL the action from the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event 2021.
The long-time broadcast production crew Carr-Hughes is boots on the ground at the Kentucky Horse Park and thankfully North America will be able to watch the live-stream for free through the USEF Network. If you’re outside of North America you’ll need to watch through Horse & Country TV (but you’ll get a 15% discount for having a USEF fan membership.)

In addition to the CCI5*-L this year, event organizers EEI have added a CCI4*-S to give ‘value added’ to the weekend. There have been an incredible number of 4*’s already this year, but this will give these horses and riders a fantastic advantage in being able to compete at the Kentucky Horse Park. Even without a stadium full of spectators, the atmosphere at the Horse Park and in Rolex Stadium is impressive and the opportunity to gallop around world class courses is always worth the trip.

Finally, a little history from the original organizer of the event. Jane Atkinson served as the executive vice president of EEI from 1984 through 2010 and was instrumental in creating the K3DE we know and love.
As someone with an incredible memory for detail, an even bigger love for history across all things horses in Kentucky, and a knack for public speaking, ‘Janie’ as she is known, sat down and wrote an abridged history lesson on the Kentucky Horse Park, EEI, the Kentucky Three-Day Event and to some extent the sport of eventing itself.
And because we won’t be able to drive through the iconic gates of the Kentucky Horse Park in person this year, a fun (and quite educational!) link to the Sculptures of the Horse Park, including Bruce Davidson and Eagle Lion which stands on display outside Rolex Stadium as a reminder that it all started with him (literally).
