Australian Christopher Burton captured his first career CCI4* last weekend at Land Rover Burghley with his 11-year-old Hanoverian gelding Nobilis I8. The pair led from start to finish behind a brilliant dressage test that earned just 30.2 penalties, and carried the momentum to the notoriously technical and demanding cross country course with the day’s top round.
