Blueberry is back! And looks ready to kill it in Rio.

Charlotte Dujardin and the great Valegro (aka, Blueberry) returned to FEI competition for the first time in a year on Friday. Competing in the Hartpury Festival of Dressage CDI3* in England, the final showcase for Great Britain’s Olympic team, they scored 83.2% to easily win the Grand Prix.

The reigning Olympic, World, and European Champions, Valegro and Durjardin have not been seen in competition since the European Championships in Germany last August where they swept all three rounds of competition. (The 14-year-old KWPN gelding’s win streak has been uninterrupted since July 2014.)

“Charlegro” closed 2015 in the world #1 spot for the fourth consecutive year. They currently hold of the record scores in Grand Prix, Special, and Freestyle.
