It was the dressage scandal that launched 1,000 panicked Facebook comments, but it looks like Carl Hester’s London Olympics mount, Uthopia, will stay right where he is supposed to be.

Thankfully, Hester, who currently sits on the U.K.’s 12-rider shortlist for Rio 2016, announced today that “Uti” will remain at home in his stable in Gloucestershire, “…where he is much loved.” The horse’s new owners have agreed to a deal with Hester, but wish to remain anonymous.

Even better? Wednesday (June 29th) is Carl’s birthday, which means the timing couldn’t be better. “[This is] a very happy ending to a stressful time and will make [my] birthday celebrations tomorrow extra special!” he said.

Happy Birthday Carl!
